Quatrain of Maybe Half Alien
Maybe Half Alien - that might be me
You knew I was my mother's
boy, but you didn't know
if I was my father's
child.
For many years you thought
I, half alien, no father in
sight, you were totally
beguiled.
Goodness knows what came of
my human donor, was there
ever a man with a spiritual
germ?
You must trust me now, when I
say, I think I am my father's
offspring, a reality God nor
my mother will
affirm.
