Memories Hard Fought
Memories are beautiful but the
mind spends too much
time looking
back,
Wishing all manner of plots had
different endings; many
thoughts to
unpack.
And yet I can't let it go: if only the
correct decisions had
been earnestly
made,
With more understanding of myself
and God's help, perhaps,
I would not be so
dismayed.
