Quatrain of More Like God

More Like God - here is hoping

I have put a bit in my steeds
mouth, I have saddled
him for a ride to
my heavenly
home,

The reigns I hold are virtuous
straps, gently placed on
the neck of my horse
so he cannot
roam.

I once was a cowboy out herding
steers of love, but now I am
traveling down streets
overrun with
sin,

I am praying Heaven is out on the
range, where I can ride God's
wishes in hopes I can be
a cowboy just like
Him.
