Native Land - alien to native

As an alien from outer space,
I have assimilated
upon this
earth,

The ground I walk has become
my home, it is where
my soul doth
berth.

I am no longer an outsider, I
left my previous life behind
so I could fit
in,

As an alien in a new land, it is
best to please the natives
and forget where I've
been.
