Quatrain of Never Changes

Never Changes - not here

I have used my faith with the
greatest of force, almost
always to no
avail,

It doesn't seem to matter how
often I believe good will
happen, faith can
fail.

I have no control over what
God decides, my prayers
never seem to alter
creation,

But I will go on behaving in a
manner of my faith, even
though God never
upgrades my
present station.
