No agreement - not with myself

I looked at myself and saw
what I thought
to be
me,

I was arguing with my soul
I thought was
truly
carefree.

The more I searched in my
direction the less
I could
see,

When I look at myself now,
I realize, my soul and
I rarely
agree.
