Quatrain of No Change

No Change - life the same day
after day

There once was a time when life
always stayed the same,
change was hardly
noticeable at
all,

Year after year nothing new was
rightly expected, living was
consistent winter
through
fall.

It is only recently that change
moves at a ravaging pace,
each and every day new
experiments are
persistent,

It may be exciting not knowing
what tomorrow will bring, but
there is something to be
said about life that
once was change
resistant.
