Quatrain of Not Alone

Not Alone - that would be us

When men are left to control
their behavior, the moist
vile and disgusting acts
emerge,

Without a God to intervene
and show the way, all men
would become an earthly
scourge.

Mankind will never make it on
his own, the evil that fills the
hearts of humans is too
much,

Pray God never takes a vacation
and allows mankind to tarry alone,
when it comes to civility,
men are out of
touch.
