No Violence - I try

You stepped on my toes, I
winced, but I didn't
shout or
scream,

You slapped my face out of
spite, but I know it's
not what you
mean.

You stomped on my thoughts,
it took me aback, but
I didn't go
mental,

Pease stop banging on me, I
wish to live my life without
striking back: violence
can be detrimental.
