Quatrain of Parachute Hell
Floating slowly
Jumping out of a flying avion, pulling
the cord, allowing a fiery Hell
to approach
from far
below,
Finding it is a little late for changing
minds, agonizing how fast
the fire is coming -
a real
blow
Making circles to help adjust the speed,
pulling cords in a frantic
mode, hoping it
will take
awhile,
Jumping toward Hell is daring, a dubiety,
but once it happens, it is a
realization I will never
again jump
free style.
