Passing you - before

I've seen you before, I passed
you on the street and
wondered who
you might
be,

I think it was the chemistry in my
soul that stirred my
thoughts I usually
handle
lordly.

Like a knight in shining armor
you spread delight all
over my skin and
captivated my
vanity,

And so here we are again, close
to each other but we still
haven't met, a challenge
that will test my
humanity.
