Quatrain of Passing Pearly Gates
On my way to Heaven
I lacked the visibility to foresee
the gates of Heaven
open,
I missed the entry to grace by
mere inches and lost every
token.
I ask God for a clear defogged
sky, but never got a laudable
reply,
Here I sit waiting for the haze to lift,
I don't want to miss the gap,
my soul must not
pass by.
