Perhaps A Fool - that's me

From the very beginning I have
never been myself, I have
always tried to be
better,

I have not failed in this attempt,
I am beyond what I might
have been, a real go
getter.

If I had I decided to be just be me,
I might have been known as
a rotten person, perhaps a
fool,

But I was created to go beyond my
soul and not let my conscience
become a sinful
tool.
