From Powder to Prayer
When I first saw you I thought
I was looking at artistic
delirium,
Spider began to crawl up my
will as if hallucinating on
opium,
A goddess to behold, a
masterpiece of a delicious
aphrodisiac,
I wanted to touch you but
knew you think I a wanton
maniac.
And so I left that day, probably
to never meet or cross paths
again,
I am living out my life piously
humbled knowing my life is yet to
begin,
Knowing that if we were to ever
converge once more, in a causal
way,
I will be prepared to pull out my
musket, light my powder and
pray,
