Prevailing Dreams - sometimes they are good

You crossed my mind when I
was asleep, how this
happened I don't
know.

I was startled to the point I
thought you were real,
you still had your
glow.

But due to my excitement, it
woke me up, and there
I was all alone and
pale,

The next time you cross my
mind, I pray I will stay
asleep; let my dream
prevail.
