Promises Broken - not good

When promises are broken,
hearts are broken too,
the world feels
eternally
raw,

Never make a promise you
cannot keep, it can cut
an ideal life apart
like a
saw.

The promise was invented
by God, His word became
his bond right
from the
start,

In turn, God expects you to
follow suit, a promise
not kept can tear
a soul
apart.
