Quatrain
Quatrain - thoughts placed into four lines
1.
With an introverted thought
placed timidly on a page,
The ghost of sour smiles, was
in search of harmony.
It tied all spirits together,
so they could not get free.
And angry with spoiled
apparitions, it died of old age.
2.
It never once stood to gain,
the welcome of the dead.
It never wanted to spell disaster,
even when it could,
The knowledge of worried wishes,
simply piled like wood,
When thought leaves the room,
the spirits will go to bed.
