Addictive Behavior - ignorance without a cause
I was on the road to recovery
when I was hampered
by an addictive
storm.
It swept over me like a flame
devouring reality as if
it were actually the
norm.
I lost my way and had to pull
over, I couldn't go another
mile in a repentant
vain.
It wasn't that I was a back
slider, it's just I couldn't
see the other side of
pain.
