Age Of Misery - we are living through it
Life was better when news came
by word-of-mouth, once
a week.
A thousand pitiful stories did not
have to be digested quickly,
so to speak.
The feeling of bigotry, or stupidity,
didn't continually bombard
the mind,
"Tis more enjoyable to learn slowly -
the cruel acts of
mankind.
