that form at the mouth of
mountain canyons


When ideology becomes too
bombastic for the gullible
and guileless
mind,

It begins to shift from too
much pressure from
ironic thoughts in a
bind,

And as it flows out for an
inauspicious world to
evaluate and wantonly
criticize,

It leaves a pitiful trail
resembling an alluvial fan,
spread in the form of
lies.
