A Phantom - purely spiritual
I once refused to look into
a mirror for many days
straight,
I did not want to confront
myself or encounter a human
trait.
I wished to become spiritual,
with nothing to physically
see,
Hoping next time I looked,
there'd appear a phantom
face, and it wouldn't
be me.
