Badger - a wombat or to harass

At first I worshiped you in
solitude without you ever
knowing,

Then came courage and I
mentioned my urges softly
growing,

But you badgered me into
thinking, I had a chance to
embrace,

I crawled into your arms
and you took a slap at my
face.

At first I thought it cute,
then the pain set in and I
fainted,

When I awoke, you had left
me all alone and immorally
tainted.

Now I dig deep for badgered
love I adore, hoping I can trap
it,

After all, I still wish to catch
you, we have whet adultery to
commit.
