Quatrain of Balancing Act
Quatrain of Balancing Act

Balancing Act - learning how to
walk upright

Don't tell me about the mistakes
I've made - poor choices -
how life has passed me
by,

I don't want to hear I buried my
head in sand while you were
saving the world on the
fly,

Yes, I could have done more, I
could have invented a machine
to wash away your
sins,

I have trouble just keeping my
balance, after all, it's
because the earth
spins.
