Bambara Groundnut - a legume
My reason was intact before
I started to think of the
many ways to fool
myself,
I was looking to embrace true
benefits of high protein,
even though I am an
elf.
Dragging on tobacco in my brain,
nostrils filled with smoke
from a cigarette
butt,
I switched to planting leguminous
thoughts totally inspired
by a bambara
groundnut.
