Being Offended - you ought to be
Be offended when I call
you ugly, fat
or even
foolish,
Be offended when I say
your heavenly
thoughts are
ghoulish.
Be offended when life
turns bare and
calls you
Uncle Sam,
It does you good to be
offended, it makes
you into a real
man.
