Quatrain of Daoism
Chinese Philosophy and Religion
Concept: All things are one, nothing can
be predicted
When the force of the natural world causes
knowledge to twist into pretzel reason,
nothing escapes but hibernating
pity.
The space above, merging with the space below,
the Funny merging with Sorrow, in an effort
to crush any religious
opposition.
By the end of the day the world appears without
form, it has washed off an abundance of
sin we wish would have remained
gritty.
.
If we could separate the present from the past
and cause pain to release the glue of toxic hate,
we might respect each other's
position.
