Quatrain of Decomposing Love
Decompose - resolve into constituent parts
What was it I saw in you,
just a few months ago,
before we decided
to make
hay,
You were hot; stirred my
libido like the turning
of an engine of
an old
Model-A.
We rocked, we excitedly
burned rubber off old
tires of irreverence
while sucking
toes,
But out of the blue, you
soured, dawned
horns, and left
me for dead to
decompose.
