Quatrain of Dog Friends


Dog friends - dogs that are friends


I placed my little puppy
upon my knee, and taught
him not to
growl,

He was soft and warm as
I stroked his head and
smiled at his
jowl.

But as the days went by
my dog took the final
step - he grew
up.

And just like my human
friends, inside, my dog
remains a little
pup.
