Has my love
for you
gone dormant?

Are my feelings I
can't find,
my informant?

Just where is my
compassion
hiding?

Is it true, regal
rapture is back
sliding?

These are scary
notions bubbling
up,

I pray my love is
not just an
empty cup.

Perhaps it is hiding,
waiting to be
refreshed,

May our souls,
once more, become
enmeshed.
