I was caught in the crossfire
of you and your thoughts, as
I mistakenly edged into
your field of
view,

When you first learned how to
think, I was happy to know,
you might turn out to
be among the wise
few.

But as you continued to learn
the ways of the world, you
started to believe
your own
propaganda,

Now I must listen to you spout
idiotic postulates and duck
false beliefs you spew,
on your intellectual
veranda.
