Quatrain of Energy Addict

Energy Addict - one who requires the use of energy

1.
No energy for me or my neighbor,
I don't desire any oil, no lamp to
light,

I shall drift backward to the last
century, content to remain out of
site,

The earth must be preserved for
eternity at all cost, no carving in the
soil,

No need to race around the planet
helping others, so don't drill for
oil.

I am happy in the dark, I shall be
mindful of food growing in my back
yard,

I will use my hands to bring it to
market without any iron to stand
guard.

I shall fabricate my cloths, use only
tools found laying around; forego
electricity,

I will go naked if I cannot find a
pair of pants made with
simplicity.

3.
And forget all nuclear explosions,
the curse of mankind and of
babies,

I shall be happy to watch the earth
spin without radiation or
impurities,

Let all old people die, the young
can walk to the store and to
school,

God's world will be saved for Him
and prayer will become our only
tool.
