Father's Tree - not all fruit is editable

You haven't fallen far from your
father's tree, this I can
surmise,
There's no question you haven't
learned from the past or the
wise.
You followed in footsteps that
were never headed in the right
direction,
Your father's tree had bad fruit,
why it grew is now the big
question.
2.
You haven't done anything to help
make my life more
worthwhile,
You're absorbed in yourself and
fixated on a progressive
style,
Instead of clinging to reality and
mastering what makes life
supreme,
You are just like your father, you
will pass on the same dimwit
gene.
