Quatrain of Fleeing Spirit
Spirit - a human without a body
As I stood in the burial
ground staring at my grave
stone,
My life flashed before me
traveling through flesh and
bone.
I once walked this soil as
though the world belonged to
me,
The earth consumed my body
and what is left is trying to
flee.
