Glottal Catch - sudden onset of a vowel


I was looking for salvation
just when you came down
with a case of the
flue,

It just happened I was coming
down with an empty spirit,
such a
hullabaloo.

Of course, I felt my illness was
worse than yours, to me it
was no close
match,

But then I found out I had a
metaphysical illness; I was
choking on a glottal
catch.
