Phantom - figment of the imagination

1.
You know there is no God when vile
mortals are never put on a moral
trial.

You know the Devil rules when all the
bluster about goodness is trapped in
denial.

Too often we are led down hell's road
following rat feces we are told is
rice,

The dirty among us seem to live forever
and get away with every immoral
vice.

2.
It is our weakness for being fooled,
our selfish wish to be psychologically
retooled,

We are anemic and follow whatever
shadow comes over our soul being
ruled,

A true God of the heavens would never
allow the most sinful among us to
live,

He would be taken by anger and smite
every inch of cruelty the Devil could
give.
