Quatrain of God's Beard

God's Beard - Holy hair

Of favor I wear a beard, manly,
masculine, as
if to prove
potency,

To shave would be a womanly
feature, signaling a
world without
poetry.

God has a holy countenance
to make reverence
known in every
prayer,

I shall follow suit and never
walk in the sunlight
without my facial
hair.
