Quatrain of Happiness Paid
Happiness Paid - it's like an allowance
I shall rent my life to happiness
to avoid sadness, sold
on the open
market,
I shall lease my soul to love untold;
embrace caring without
breaking a
sweat.
I shall stay positive when all else
fails, and use all my
energy to avoid
misery,
For I have the independence to be
a life earner, as long as
my soul is the
payee.
