Quatrain of Jaundice Soul


Jaundice - accumulation of bile pigments
in the blood stream and other bodily
tissues that turns the skin yellow



'tis my spiritual health I find
failing, motivation does not
prevail,

I feel bars of diseased grace
enclosing me, in an incurable
jail.

I yearn to be forgiven, to place
my earthly sins in a giant
hole,

But I find my faith is turning
yellow, I have a jaundice
soul!
