Quatrain of Little Privacy
Little Privacy - watching you
I can't see every thought that
passes through your brilliant
mind, but I can mount a
camera to your
head.
I can't hear every word you
say that passes your lips but
I can mount a microphone
near what you
said.
I can't know every dream you
wantonly foretell but I can
record the hours that pass
while you try to
sleep,
I can't store every emotion you
have but I can place you under
surveillance; watch
while you count
sheep.
