Quatrain of Living Forever
Living Forever - a bad idea
O, to be immortal, to live until
an expanding cosmos
disappears into the
dark,
To never grow old, to pay elastic
homage to a world without
a longevity
benchmark,
With imperishable thoughts you
could grow smarter than
any person on the
planet,
In reality, living forever would
be a cruel trick, you would
need a soul made
of granite.
