Quatrain of A Love Act
Love Act - like watching a play
It was the first Act that drew
me to you, by the second
Act my heart was
becoming
sore.
You came on strong when we
first met, and then you
began complaining
love was a
chore.
I tried my best to love you,
I tried my best to give
you all my Will and
Heart with
luster.
By the end of the Play, you
rejected me, not for who
I am, but for the lack
of love you could
muster.
