Quatrain of Mental Erosion
Mental Erosion - thoughts without thinking
Perhaps I should have stayed
on the farm where the sun
sets after its daily
journey,
Here, in the industrialized world,
the mistakes I make are rolled
away in a liberal
gurney,
Where the consequence of my
actions are passed on to
the dolt or an uncaring
fool,
tis the life of collective wit, from
wasted thoughts, cultivating
ignorance without a farm
mule.
