Quatrain of Missed Connection
Missed Connection - stay awake for
the important stuff
I slumber beneath a home-
made moral code, a code
which my soul must
adhere,
I wasn't awake when ethics
were deistically fashioned
by the hand of a Devine
pamphleteer.
I now suffer the wrath of
always being wrong and
never knowing what to
do,
I wish I would have stayed
awake during the tutelage
of God's world
view.
