Quatrain of Mot
West Semitic god of the dead. Had powers
to oppose life and fertility. God of sterility
and of barren places.
Life oozing along the ground,
escaping from a sterile hell
of poor judgment and unholy
dithering.
The living, desperate to escape
god of Mot, to find redemption
before their excitement begins
withering,
Lacking energy and stripped of
enthusiasm, the Will locked in
bondage struck by the lance of
death,
Their is nothing worse than facing
desolation as a spark of cognition
attempts to ignite omnipotent
breath.
