Quatrain of Old Thoughts

Old Thoughts - aged ideas

Some of my thoughts are slowing; wearing out - I have had
them for a long
time,

These are ideas I have used in the
past - to shuffle my reason -
keep sanity in
line,

I took great comfort in facing life
-with only my mind to
intercede - on tough
days,

My thinking is now in a wheelchair
of despair, and my advice
is too tired to
amaze.
