One Cord - tied together in love
Let us tie our knots together,
twirl one rope with the ease
of two lasso artists at
play.
Let us hang our relationship from
the hitching post of the human
spirit, so we can feel it
sway.
Let us swing our thoughts by the
lanyard of sexual meaning, so
we can snare an intimate
reward,
Let us be as one life, encircled
with a lariat of love, where we
can be combined with only
one cord.
