Pulpit - religious podium

O, it is of spiritual yearning,
to hear the word of God, to
absorb orderly thoughts
outstanding.

Thy comforting of the soul,
weary from delusion infested
throughout hallowed
branding,

If not for the message of God,
the sound of the preachers
mind worshiping thy moral
wit,

I would not have a deific duty to
reverently enter a holy temple;
sit in a pew facing the
pulpit.
