Quatrain of Religion
A set of fundamental beliefs
involving devotional or
ritualistic observances
O, there once came to be,
a moral code set forth
upon my life's
beginning,
Chastising ethical cords strung
together in bundles of
doubt, once
thinning.
With chartered charity, and
devotional amendments
of unfaithful practices
forbad,
I forever missed the wish, to
cleanse sinful nourishments
of an apostolical
fad.
