Searching Yesterday - why we do it
Longing for the old days,
while gauging yesterday
with dreams self
contained,
Intensely watching flickering
thoughts unfold, without
the mind being
strained.
It is easy to reflect upon the
past when passion was up
to date and it was easy
to pay the
fare.
Longing for the old days, doesn't
bring back the best times,
it's just a reminder,
you where
there.
