Quatrain of Snake Bitten
Snake Bitten - by the Devil
Sorrowful pain, quickly ebbing
back and forth, as if a
breeze of hate were
blowing,
The desire for eternal wealth,
with a picture of misery
captured by radar, forever
showing.
Leveraged deeds, forever told
by Christ and described in
the Gospels, that were
written,
Sin dripping from a crying
soul, in search of resurrected
hope that was snake
bitten.
